Our Homeschool Week {one}

This post is part of my #write31days series about being an unlikely homeschooler. Be sure to follow along with the entire series by checking out the main page here

Scary. Challenging. Exciting. Exhausting. Fun. Frustrating. Wonderful. Hard. Rewarding.

Worth it.

This is homeschooling in a few words, at least from my experience!

My heart behind this #Write31Days series is to give you a glimpse at my story of becoming a homeschooling mom (and how unlikely it is) and share a few of things I have learned on the journey so far. But, I also want to share actual glimpses of what our homeschool time looks like.

We play. We read. We make messes. We do worksheets. We get frustrated with math. We sing songs to memorize all kinds of awesome information. We have a lot of fun! It’s normal yet somewhat abnormal all at the same, and I want to share some of that with you each week.

(I tried to think of some cute name for what this could be, but landed on a semi-boring “Our Homeschool Week” for the title. Oh well. Utilitarian can be good sometimes too!)

So here you go, my first “Our Homeschool Week” for you to enjoy!
